01 Who we are

Four lads, one attic, far too many guitars.

CTRL — pronounced “control” — are a four-piece out of Wexford on Ireland's sunny south-east coast. We write loud, hook-heavy pop-punk that leans into rock and the occasional bit of hardcore when the room calls for it.

No label, no fancy live room, no nonsense. Everything you hear was written, played and recorded by the four of us in an attic studio — somewhere between the rafters and the neighbours' patience. It's a DIY operation and we like it that way: honest songs, big choruses, and just enough distortion to feel it in your chest.

Keeps the whole circus in time from behind the kit.
